アルバム「こころね」は８０年代に海外スタジオ録音し今まで保存されていたアナログのレコーディングマスターを元に全曲新たに制作、レコーディング、ミックスしたフルアルバムです。
名曲「赤とんぼ」や「早春賦」、未発表曲の「宵待草」「おぼろ月夜」などに加えてリミックスバージョンの「赤とんぼ」を含め全１５曲収録。
CDは三つ折りの紙ジャケットを使用し音色を感じさせるポップなデザイン。
タイトルの「こころね」同様に田端義夫の手書きの歌詞で歌に込められたアーティストの思いがより一層伝わってきます。
今も歌い継がれている日本の童謡。アンビエンツとしての新たな位置づけと音づくり。
